Large, old, and with a surface that certainly isn’t trying to look factory-new. Aime is an old glazed pot with a substantial, rounded shape and plenty of patina from a previous life. The glaze varies from deep black and brown tones to more muted and worn areas where the natural colour of the clay shows through. Scratches, chipped areas, and other signs of wear are part of the charm and give each pot its own distinctive character. Use the large pot as a focal point on the floor, on a low pedestal, or as part of a larger display in a shop, restaurant, or showroom. It makes a strong statement on its own but also works beautifully with other old pots in different sizes and shapes. The pots are old, and shape, colour, glaze, patina, and details vary from pot to pot. It is precisely these variations that make them interesting.
