Let’s be fair. Photos are great… but they can be a little deceptive. Especially when it comes to size. A planter measuring 135 cm may look fairly manageable on a screen, but it is only when you stand next to it that you really see and feel how much presence it has in a room. In a good way!

If you still want to use them for plants, we recommend:

• Use an inner pot
  A plastic plant pot or similar placed inside prevents water from coming into direct contact with the material.
• Place them on a saucer
  A saucer catches excess water and protects both the planter and the surface underneath from moisture and marks.
• Raise them slightly using our iron rings
  This makes it easy to spot any leaking water and wipe it up quickly.
• Remember felt pads on delicate surfaces
  They help protect against scratches and marks, particularly if condensation or moisture develops underneath.

Can I plant directly in your clay pots?

No. They are not waterproof. Always use an inner pot or a separate plant pot inside.

Can the planters be used outdoors?

No, our planters are not suitable for outdoor use. They are not frost-resistant and can be damaged by moisture and changes in temperature. We therefore recommend using them indoors or in covered areas where they are protected from the weather and frost.

Which planters should I choose for a shop or café?

Choose a combination of large planters as focal points and smaller clay pots for the details. Varying the heights and materials creates the best overall result.
