This old drum has long since finished its career as an ordinary musical instrument. Now it is ready for a new life as a rather unusual decorative piece with plenty of character. The drum has a dark, patinated surface and beautiful woven details around the edge. The two handles and included drumsticks emphasise its original function and make it interesting from every angle. We have placed the drum on a simple black iron stand to raise it off the floor and give it a stronger presence in the interior. Use it as a striking focal point in a shop, restaurant, bar, or any other interior where there is room for objects with a past and a little more to tell than the average decorative piece. The flat top might make it tempting to use it as a table, but we recommend letting the drum be a drum and using it as a decorative element. After all, it’s not every day you get one of these through the door.
